Wedding Weekend #2 With Family

**GUEST BLOGGER**
~ Eric Hendrickson ~ (my husband)
Wedding #2 of 3 in a row.  This wedding was for my cousin, Joseph.
The wedding was in Concordia, Missouri on Joe's land.
No offense to the those whose wedding I have attended in the past and to my wife, but this was the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever witnessed.
What made this ceremony so beautiful was that Jesus Christ was the focus.  The Gospel was presented and a Biblical understanding of marriage was clearly given.  The love for Jesus and for each other was clearly evident by the couple and the wedding party.  The fact that it was on a beautiful day and in a quaint meadow on the couple's land made it that much more special.  God bless your marriage Joe and Erica.
Keith Urban led the ceremony, at least that is what Stacee thought.  He was Spirit led and his love for the couple was heart-touching.
Above, the Schroeder family welcoming the new member of their family, Erica.
Above, are the kids and I before crossing the bridge built by my Uncle Jon over the creek, as we were leaving the ceremony.
Phoebe loves yellow and cupcakes.  I love my Grandma.
Many, but not all, of Grandma's grandkids and great grand kids.  Pictured above - top left to right:  Daniel, Patrick, Dorothy (grandma), Anne, Eden, Eric, Silas.  Bottom left to right: Harlee, Sarah, Phoebe, Eli, and Archer.
We had dinner after the ceremony.  My cousin Ken, one of Joe's brothers, had decorated the area by stringing lights above.  Nice work.  You can see Joe's house in the background.
The guys playing spades.  (Ken, Daniel, Tony, Jon, myself - Eric, and Patrick) With Ken (gray shirt) being in Florida, Uncle Tony (White short sleeve, collared shirt) in St. John/Virgin Islands, and Patrick (red shirt) in Pennsylvania, we don't get to see each other much.  It was great to see you guys.  Love you.

Wedding Weekend With Family #1

**GUEST BLOGGER**
~ Eric Hendrickson ~ (my husband)
The August 30th weekend was the first of a string of three family wedding weekends in a row.  This wedding was for my first cousin, Allison.
My mom, Sharon; brothers, Bret and Marc; and Bret's family, Andrea, Ayden, and Kallin, came up from Fort Worth.  My mom and Marc stayed at our house.
The wedding was at Eberly Farms in Wichita.
Above are the cousins from left to right:  Kallin, Sarah, Phoebe, Ayden, and Silas.
They had a nice ceremony led by Allison's grandfather.
Allison wore a beautiful dress and the guys sported slick tuxedos.
There were a lot of pies, cookies, and cake for dessert.  I never made it that far because I ate too much dinner.  Eberly Farms makes and serves some great food.
Above on the left is Sarah with Grandma Sharon.  On the right is my Grandma, Dorothy, and her sister with the red hair, Shirleen (Aunt Nene).  Also pictured are my mom and her twin, Karen.
The dancing fools, pictured above, from left to right: Ken (my first cousin), Daniel (my first cousin), Marc (my brother), Joe (my first cousin), me, and Hannah (my first cousin, Allison's sister).  The little guy is Archer, Patrick's son.
Carla, Allison's Mom, is out dancing with the little girls.
Marc and I were showing off our moves.  The one pictured above is the "lawnmower".  I also did the "Carlton" and Vanilla Ice moves.  I act like I am smooth but I know that I am not.  I do have fun though.
Here we are pictured above, with the bride, Allison.
The Three SISTERS ~ Karen, Sharon, and Carla.

Silas and Marc were best buds.
The kids enjoyed playing in the sprinkler in our backyard.  I have some great memories with my cousins and I bet this will be one for these cousins.
We took a lot of pictures and finally got one with all the grandkids and Grandma Sharon.
I am thankful that the entire family was able to get together.  It doesn't happen near enough.
Bret, Marc, and I were able to have some bro time by going to the driving range.  We all smashed the ball, but Marc has the most distance.  Bret had the best accuracy.  I have such a great time with my brothers. I wish we all lived near each other.  When together, we are idiots, but we have fun doing it.  Love you guys.

Cars Birthday Party

We had a Disney Cars themed birthday party for Silas a few days after his actual birthday in August.  I ordered a cake from Dillons and we celebrated with family.
He especially enjoyed blowing out his candles on the cake.  We let him do it about four times before we cut the cake.  He would blow them out and then say, "Again, Mommy, again, blow again?!?"
He got some very nice and thoughtful gifts from his cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and grandparents.
He especially loved his cars and tools.  He couldn't concentrate on anything else once he realized he had gotten some more new cars.  All he wanted was to get them opened and to start zooming them around on the floor.
Phoebe really liked the tools from Aunt Lindsee and EP too!
