Sarah turned 15 at the beginning of March.
Aunt Lindsee, Uncle EP, and Will got a big variety of things for us all to dip in chocolate for her birthday.
It was fun, and delicious!
Lindsee dipped the final "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" dipped strawberries.
For lunch, we all had pizza from Domino's Pizza. Sarah's favorite kind from there is the BBQ Chicken pizza.
The kids and Popee had fun riding the Go-Kart that afternoon.
Sarah opened her gifts from us. Phoebe made her a couple little basketball and volleyball decorations, and gave her some of her favorite snacks.
From us she got money, a book, a keychain, and a new softball mask.
Silas gave her a few funny little things from his bedroom, and some of her favorite snacks.
She got some gift cards from Nanee and Popee. And, a gift card came in the mail from Grandma Sharon.
We played a Girls vs. Guys wiffleball game.
Girls won! (Girls rule. Boys drool.)
For dinner we all enjoyed Mexican food from a local favorite, El Azteca.
For birthday dessert we had a LOT of yummy things... chocolate dipped strawberries......
ice cream cake from Dairy Queen......
and, Crumbl Cookies!
Before singing to Sarah, Will was being extra silly. He kept calling Sarah his "birdday girl". We all got a good laugh at his funny sayings, especially when he said, "I love my birdday girl."
Later that night, before going to bed, we got out the game Taboo to try. It was our kids first time to play it. They seemed to like it and pushing the buzzer accessively...buzz, buzzzzz, buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Happy 15th Birthday sweet Sarah! Your determination and drive to do good, and be the best you that you can be in academics, sports, and in life makes my mommy heart full. You show kindness over and over, even when showing kindness in situations is hard to do. I love how easy you smile when you are with your friends and your willingness to be silly and laugh with friends is contagious. You are a caring granddaughter. You look out for your siblings and are protective of them when you think someone is doing them wrong. You are a role model and leader to other students of all ages. Many kids and your peers look up to you. We love you so much! Keep being you!Love, Mommy
