Sarah tried out and made the High School JV softball team. (YAY, for a three sport high school athlete two years in a row!) It was a good season for her team. She played left field and second base this season. She is a tough player, so competitive, and works hard because she wants her team to be successful. She is fun to watch. I especially love it when she is stealing bases and sliding, diving for balls, turning double plays, and gunning a ball in from the outfield all the way to home plate to throw a girl out. The JV team record for the season was 9-8-1.
The first game was very windy. Popee and Phoebe used a blanket to block all the dirt that kept pelting them in the face. Below, are a LOT of pictures from throughout the season.
Popee got to go with us to several home and away games this season.
Will, Grandma Sharon, Uncle Tom, and Popee all got to cheer for Sarah at the Maize game.
