She was a Candy Corn Princess. I found the little dress and hat at the store and sewed on about 15 sparkly gems. Then made her a magic wand. She would wave the wand in the air say, "Candy Corn, Candy Corn, Poof!"
They had a parade around the school building, trick or treating in the offices as they went along...
Back in the classroom, they had treats. Some one's mom (not me) did a fabulous job making chocolate cookies and decorating each one with a spider web! They were a hit with all of the kids! I had signed up for Sarah to bring party favors for her classmates. She was excited to had out the little zip-lock bags of treats that she had help me put together for her friends. She asked her teachers and I several times, "Can I had out my party favors now?"
They played a fun Halloween Simon Says type game.... Fly like a superhero, cast a spell like a witch, jump like Batman, twirl like a princess....
Sarah liked that her teachers were dressed up too! Ms. Lila was a yellow M&M and Ms. Sheryl was Mrs. Potato Head!
