This year for Halloween Sarah was a Candy Corn Princess and Phoebe dressed as a pumpkin, or a "babo" as she calls them.
My parents visited us for some Halloween fun again this year... Dad was a scarecrow!
We drove to my Uncle and Aunt's house to trick-or-treat them. They always have some yummy chocolate for us. On the drive back to our house Sarah ate at least three pieces, Phoebe ate two - starting with a Mounds, and I had two. We were hungry and couldn't resist those chocolate bars.Back at home Eric and I walked with our girls around the block trick-or-treating all the houses with their front porch light on. Phoebe wanted to be carried the whole time. Once we got to the end of our street Sarah asked me to carry her bucket. She said it was "too heavy". Both girls did great using their manners... After getting candy at each house they both would tell the candy-giver "thank-you", or "ga-ku" as Phoebe would say. While walking around the block Sarah said to me... "how bout this, we can say, thank you and can we please have some more?"
Sarah was ready to be done and go home after about 30 minutes.... She was excited to get back to our house and help Popee hand out candy to trick-or-treaters (or our "customers" as she would call them) at our house.
Happy Halloween and enjoy some chocolate!
