We made a quick trip to Sioux City, Iowa last week for one of Eric's Aunt's funeral. Eric's Dad, Rich, and Aunt Jean were supposed to come and visit us in Kansas the last weekend in September.... Jean was driving from her home in Minnesota to pick up her brother Rich. Then they would drive/ride together from Sioux City to our house. Jean was tragically killed in a car accident before reaching Sioux City to pick up Rich early in the morning. We all were very shocked and sad. Jean was a wonderful, nice lady. A great Aunt to Eric and someone who always did a good job of keeping in contact with us. She was fun to be around and never forgot our birthdays, or our children's birthdays. She will be missed.
