Birthday Girl

Last week we celebrated Phoebe's 3rd birthday!  It was a beautiful Fall day.  The girls enjoyed getting to spend some time outside playing together.  And, I had all three kids pose for just a few pictures....

Later that afternoon, Phoebe opened her presents from us... She had been eyeing them all day and was excited to see her "prizes" as she kept calling them.  From Sarah, she got a big Disney Princess coloring book and a game.  From Silas, she got a puzzle and a Disney Little People Beauty and the Beast set.

The big present from Daddy and Mommy was the Disney Little People Princess castle.  

Daddy got it all put together....

Both girls could not wait to play with it!  It has been a hit.  Two thumbs up from both the Hendrickson girls!  Phoebe's favorite feature of the castle is making the Princess dolls sing and dance and her favorite Princesses are Ariel and Belle.

We went with a giant cookie cake this year.  It was a hit also!

Phoebe liked it when Eric lit the candles and she got to blow them out.  She wanted to do it over and over.

That evening on the way home from church, we told Phoebe and Sarah they could each have another piece of cookie cake when we got home if they wanted... From the back of the van we heard Phoebe say that she wanted Daddy to "light em' up" again.  So, we sang Happy Birthday and Eric lit them up again!

Presents also came in the mail that day from Grandma Sharon, Aunt Lindsee and EP.  When opening Lindsee and EP's gift, Phoebe was especially interested in the packing peanuts.... They were everywhere...

Thanks for the pajamas Grandma Sharon!  And, Thanks to Lindsee and EP for the great puzzles and the very exciting Princess Ariel and Prince Eric's Coach.
