A couple weeks ago the kids and I headed to my parents house (Popee and Nanee) and stayed for about five days. The girls went to VBS at their church in the evenings, and during the daytime we had lots of fun... swimming, playing outside, visiting friends, and shopping for school supplies.
The weather cooled off the week we were there, so it was a great week to be outside, except for when you are little and you want to swim outside... Then it is just a little bit too cold. So what do these silly girls do? Freeze! Just like every other excited little kid, they shivered, they got in the water, they said I am cold about 864 times, they got back into the water, they talked about how cold the water was, they got back into the water, they used a towel to dry off and warm-up, and then they got back into the water.
Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun at your house. We love to spend time with you!
