Silas turned 2 on August 8th. It was a Friday. We started the day by going to Pump It Up. All three kids had a free pass to go jump, which they each earned by reading books in the Library's Summer Reading Program.
Silas was too small for must of the large inflatables, but he enjoyed climbing on and over these obstacles and jumping with his sisters in one of the smaller jumping inflatables.
That evening when Eric got home from work we all went swimming at the City Pool.
Then we came home, ate pizza, and let Silas open his gifts from us, and a gift that he gotten in the mail from Grandma Sharon. He opened gifts very fast. He didn't care at all about looking at his new clothes, but he really wanted to sit down and play with all of his new cars, and look at his new books.

Before bed we had brownies and ice cream.
Silas liked it when Daddy lit the candles and we sang Happy Birthday to him.
Then he blew out his candles.
It was delicious "brownie cake", as we called it.
Happy 2nd birthday to our sweet - full of energy -"Big Boy"! We all love you so much.
