For my birthday, back in September, my parents came to town and took us all out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants... Red Lobster! Red Lobster always has "Endless Shrimp" on their menu right around my birthday. Red Lobster + Endless Shrimp = Full Tummies all around the table. Eric always says that they lose money on him when he eats endless shrimp. He's right. That man can put the shrimp away, well, food in general... he can eat like a crazy man.
After dinner we came back home and I opened some gifts and looked at my cards. The kids did a nice job of making cards for me.

Then we ate cherry pie. Yes, cherry pie. No cake this year. I do LOVE cake, but this year I wanted something different so I requested a cherry pie. Eric being the good husband that he is, went to one of the best pie makers in town
(Spear's Restaurant and Pie Shop) and bought me a cherry pie. It was delicious. I may have had it for breakfast a couple days in a row after my birthday too. Dessert for breakfast is always extra yummy and a good way to
drag out spread out my birthday.
