In August, Sarah tried out for and made the 8th grade (A) volleyball team. Practices started before school did this year because our school start date was pushed back due to Covid. The girls had to wear masks for their team picture (below), but during active practice and games this season they did not have to wear a mask.
Top row, left to right, Coach Hunt, Brooke, Sarah, Hannah, Addie, Delaney, Kaelyn, and Coach Yordy. Middle row, left to right, Taelynn, Hope, Emmi, Destiny, Addison. Bottom row, left to right, Mayli, Ava, Kylie, Chadisty.
Below are pictures from each game this season. In a volleyball match a team must win 2 games to win. So, the best two out of three games determines the winner. I added the words won or lost after each set of game pictures to indicate if we won or lost and the amount of games that we played to win or lose that evening.

Team MVP
Sarah did a fantastic job this year! She made huge improvements in her game play and she put in lots of extra work at home, and it paid off. She hustles and tries her best for her team, her coaches, and herself. She wants to see her team be successful and tries to be a good teammate and friend. She encourages others to try harder and be their best too. She was voted MVP of the 8th grade team this year by her coaches and teammates. Way to go, Sarah! (Full Mom Heart Moment)
