Phoebe played on a 5th and 6th grade volleyball team through our local rec. center this fall. She did a fantastic job bumping, serving, and diving for balls. She even tried to set in a few of her games and did a good job. She spent a lot of time at home practicing in our yard with family members and by herself. Her dedication to bettering herself is very admirable, and paid off on the court for her. She understands the game and was one of the few on her team who was not afraid of hard hit balls, diving on the ground for it, and gave extra effort on the court. Her team did very well, winning all of their games except the very last two when they played the other undefeated team in our league and lost to them. Each Saturday, Phoebe's team played one team twice. Below, are pictures from each game that Phoebe's team played. In volleyball the best two out of three games determines the overall winner. I have listed "won" or "lost" below each set of game day pictures.

Below, Phoebe and her friend, Haylee. They have been great friends since Kindergarten. They aren't in the same class at school this year, so we are thankful that they are on some of the same sports teams.
