Phoebe tried out and made the 7th grade middle school volleyball team in August. She was excited and so were we! After the first week or so of practice she was selected to play on the "A" team for her school. Things were going well. She volunteered to be the "setter" for her team, and did AMAZING. She practiced at home with us and by herself. Her serves got better and better, her setting was great, and she wasn't afraid to go after the ball. She had an amazing season and played hard! Her team won at least half their games and had a good time together. She had some friends on her team and made some new friends too. Below are pictures, in no particular order, of games throughout her season.

Our middle school has started to play the other middle school in our town again this year. So in the pictures below, Phoebe was playing against some of her friends, and her cousin, Ana.

Phoebe's team got to make a stop at Sonic one evening after their games for some team bonding and ice cream treats.
Phoebe was selected by her coaches and teachers as one of the September athletes of the month at her school. Yay! Way to go, Phoebe! Leading in her school on the court and in the classroom!
At the end of the season, Phoebe was selected by her teammates, as the MVP of the season for her team! (Full Mommy heart) Phoebe, you are a rockstar athlete and student. Keep up the amazing work!!!
