Phoebe turned 14 at the beginning of November. She didn't want to have a party, but instead just wanted some family members to come to town and go out to dinner with us, then come over to our house. Popee, Lindsee, Will, and EP came to town on Friday, November 3rd, and we went to eat dinner at Old Tokyo. The food was delicious and our cook was very entertaining. Most of us tried to catch some shrimp that was thrown to us, by the cook. Some of us were way better at it than others... Truthfully, everyone that tried caught shrimp in their mouths, but me. I was awful at it. I caught none. Zero. Shrimp bounced off my face, off my shoulder, and off my chest. The throws maybe were not the best, but I was awful. I even asked him to NOT throw anymore shrimp to me, but he yelled, "REDEMPTION!" And, threw more my way. I am glad, at least, that I could provide my whole table and tables of people around us with some serious laughter.
Back at home, after dinner, we played some games. The first game was Christmas Charades. We divided into teams... Team One - Phoebe and Sarah, Team Two - Eric and EP, Team Three - Lindsee and I, and Team Four - Popee, Will, and Silas. The winners of Christmas Charades were Lindsee and I!
Next up was Twister. Popee was the all-time caller for each team. The winning team was Phoebe and Sarah.
Lastly, we played Apples To Apples. We played this as individuals, not teams. Lindsee was the big winner of Apples To Apples.
Phoebe opened a gift from Lindsee, EP, and Will... college money, chocolate, and a Maurices gift card.
Then we all enjoyed some delicious chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
Silas played "Happy Birthday" on his violin for Phoebe. It sounded great!
Phoebe had a basketball game the evening of her actual birthday. They won the game 26 - 14. It was a great game to watch and cheer for some of our favorite Gorillas.
Back at home, after the game, Phoebe opened her gifts from us and we ate more cake. She got money and chocolate from the Sweet Granada from Popee.

Sarah gave Phoebe some new hair clips.
She got clothes, snacks, and a big blow mold Grinch from Eric and I.
Popee, got a white cake for Phoebe's birthday dessert. He also decorated the island and made if super birthday festive. Thanks Popee!
