In late March we started practices for another year of Thunder baseball. We started 12u baseball last year, so we were a young 12u team. We are in 12u again this year, so we are the experienced 12u team.
This year the coaches decided to incorporate a time during each practice where we focus on leadership. Each week, we talk about a different aspect of leadership: Week - 1) Servant, 2) Leading by example, 3) Faithfulness, 4)Wisdom/Discernment, 5) Integrity, 6) Humility, 7) Love. I think this has been an excellent addition to our practices. We want to teach the kids more than just baseball.
The coaches agreed the main thing we must improve upon this year is baserunning. We have tried to incorporate baserunning into every practice.
Landon (from church) is a new and good addition to our team.
Grant came out one Saturday morning to work with our pitchers. It was great for all of them especially Knova.
