Date with Silas 2/15/25 - Movie and ice cream
Silas and I kicked off the Daddy Dates 2025 by going to the Dog Man movie. Silas liked the movie.
We went to the Freezing Moo for ice cream.
We finished the night playing some WI in the cold shop.
Date with Phoebe 2/16/25 - Thunder Hockey game and dinner
Phoebe and I enjoy going to the Thunder hockey games at Intrust Bank arena. We try to go to one a year, so what better night to choose than the Faith and Family night.
The seats we bought were too low, so we moved up to a higher location. We prefer being on the upper deck and like sitting behind the goal.
They dropped coupons from the catwalk, which we won't likely be using.
Thunder won.
There was a special event after the game; a Q&A with two cast members of the show, The Chosen.
We decided to sit in the section above instead of the ground level so we could see really well.
After the game, we ate at Wing Stop. We didn't go anywhere for dessert.
When we got home, we watched an episode of The Chosen. We chose the Two by Two episode because it was a powerful episode that had a memorable scene with Little John who was one of the cast members that was in the Q&A session.
Date with Sarah 4/4/25 - Shopping, Dave & Busters, dinner, and dessert
Sarah likes Sushi (no raw fish or wasabi), so we went to a Sushi Bar.
I had a Bento box with Salmon and Eel sushi.
Sarah had her usual, California rolls.
Sarah loves dessert so we went to the Freezing Moo

We were going to watch a movie, but Sarah was tired. We will raincheck it.
Sarah had her usual, California rolls.
Above: Sarah loves to shop so we looked for dorm room items. She got a nice jewelry holder.
Below: We went to Dave and Busters, but not for very long. Sarah's favorite game was out of order and she thought the 3000+ points she had earned for prizes were gone from her redemption card. We later found out we have two different Dave and Busters cards so the points were on the other card.
I won!Sarah loves dessert so we went to the Freezing Moo

We were going to watch a movie, but Sarah was tired. We will raincheck it.
Date with Silas 4/12/25 - Reptile Expo, Fishing, Sonic
Silas and I wore our "skeletor" shoes. Silas and I like them, but the girls don't.
Silas had a free ticket to the Reptile Expo at the Kansas Star casino.
This place had many vendors selling spiders, tortoises, reptiles, fish, snakes and all the accessories.
Silas held a snake and a baby tortoise.
We then went to Sonic for dinner and dessert.
We finished the date with some fishing.
Date with Phoebe 6/20/25 - Drive In Movie
Phoebe and I decided on a whim to go to the Drive in Movie theater to watch two movies. We had a nice set up in the bed of the truck.
I really enjoyed the Dragon movie and thought the Lilo movie was ok. It was a late night, but a good one.
Date with Sarah 7/27/25 - downtown Wichita
Sarah and I decided to have a "downtown Wichita" date.
The first thing we did was check out the Wichita Biomedical project that I am currently building by Intrust Bank Arena.
I took a picture of us on the security camera.
We then walked to Wasabi for dinner. I forgot to take pictures of the meal but Sarah had California sushi rolls and I had a Bento box.
We then went for dessert at Milkfloat, which is near the Hutton office. We were supposed to watch a movie but Sarah was tired.

Date with Phoebe 9/6/25 - dinner, musical, and dessert
Phoebe enjoys going to musicals, so I got us tickets to the musical, "A Grand Night For Singing", at Century II.
The show was at 2pm so we first went to eat at Applebee's for lunch. Phoebe got a special drink, but I don't remember what it was. We both had oriental chicken salads and wings.
We had a funny moment at the intermission. I told Phoebe that I would like the show better if it had a storyline. She then let me know that it did. It went right over my head.
We then went to Milkfloat for a milkshake.
Date with Silas 12/12/25 - Central Community Church, dinner and dessert
The last date of the year. Silas and I went to the Christmas concert at Central Community Church.
We showed up 30 minutes early, but still got nose bleed seats, 2nd row from the top row.
The concert was good but leaving the event was not. It took about 20 minutes to be able to get out of the parking lot.
