Memorial Day weekend was full of beautiful weather and outside activities. Saturday morning brought running, and visits to cemeteries and flowers on graves. Saturday afternoon brought target practice with family. And, a date with Daddy for Silas...to All Star Sports/Adventures, Menards, Wendy's and Cabela's.
Dad blasted the targets, as usual.

Mom, Phoebe and Sarah went along to watch the action.
With Popee's help, Sarah shot a gun, Popee's old 410, for the first time.

Mom, Sarah, and Phoebe had fun watching, visiting, learning about shooting, and riding around in the golf cart.
Sunday brought running, worm collecting, yardwork, shed repairs, and a short hike around a pond.
We found this large Red-Earred Slider on our pond hike. Sarah carried it back down by the water and let it go.
