Silas turned 4 earlier this month. He is a bright-eyed, inquisitive, full of energy, kind-hearted boy! He has a great memory, likes bugs, fishing with his Daddy and Popee, looking at books, playing with cars, trucks, planes, and superheros, and being outside. I am so thankful that God blessed us with him four years ago. He keeps our family moving and laughing. I love his little hugs and endless smooches. He will forever be my "Sweetie Petey Pie", even though he tells me he won't. I love you, Silas Paul!
On his birthday he picked to go to Exploration Place. We spent a few hours there.
He liked the Dinosaurs in Motion exhibit. He liked using the controllers to move the dinosaur legs, arms, and their necks.
All three kids always like pretending to fly the planes at Exploration Place.
We all tried the ball maze a few times. Phoebe seemed to be the best at it.
We played a few holes of miniature golf outside by the river. Silas liked putting the ball.
For his birthday dinner that night we went to eat at Old Chicago. Silas really wanted pizza and macaroni and cheese. We let him order mac and cheese and we ordered the pizza. He ate all of his noodles and a slice of pizza! Big Eater! Then our waitress brought out a birthday chocolate chip cookie and ice cream for him. He couldn't believe it, and dug right in, eating the ice cream first.
When we got home he opened his gifts from us, and a package that came in the mail from Aunt Lindsee and Uncle Eric. Sarah helped him read the cards.
He got some new cars and trucks from Sarah.
Lindsee and EP sent him the Incredible Hulk and two new shirts.
Books, clothes, Robin, a Nerf gun, and a bow and arrows from Mommy and Daddy....
And, Planes and Skipper's Flight School for Planes from Phoebe.
We all enjoyed some Happy Birthday cupcakes before bed, with the candles lit this time!
Happy birthday, to my Sweetie Petey Pie. Happy birthday to YOU!
And, many many more!
