Sarah ~ 7th Grade Volleyball

Sarah tried out for and made the 7th grade volleyball team in August.  There were 25-30 girls who tried out and the coaches kept 16 of them.  Then after a week or so of practice it was announced who was on the A and B teams.  Sarah was part of the A team.  Yay!  Good job, Sarah!  We can't wait to watch you play your first middle school sport.

Below are a few pictures from each game that Sarah's team played in this season.  They played well, won a few and lost a few.  They improved as a team all season long and played tough.  It was a fun season to watch and cheer for these girls.  (Sarah is number #14.)  She had a fantastic season.  Sarah was one of the two main setters for the A team.  She liked her coaches, and was eager to practice at home and to get better.  She played well in her games, and was not afraid to get down and dive for a ball.  She was focused, powerful, and tough.

Awards Ceremony

Sarah got a certificate and lettered in Volleyball!  She also received the "Best Server" award for her team!!!!

End of Season A Team Tournament

Last games of the season... Sarah and Hannah were the captains.

Sarah and her team played well.  It was a fun first season to watch and cheer for her.  I hope she will continue to love to play volleyball and other sports.  She is a Rockstar athlete and daughter.  I have a full Mommy heart after watching her improve and gain confidence in herself during this season.
