Phoebe tried out for, made the team, and played high school basketball. She started on the freshman team.

Steele Chapman, who was an excellent Campus high school player and part of the undefeated season in 2020, was the freshman coach this year. I thought he did a great job and I hope he stays committed to the team and becomes the next Campus varsity coach once Coach Allan retires.

~Away against Maize, right before Christmas~
This game went into overtime, and we won.
~Away against Valley Center "C" team~
The "C" team is different than the freshman team. These could be girls that are sophomores or juniors who are not on JV or varsity. This game went into overtime too, and we ended up losing by just a few points.

~Home against Valley Center (Homecoming)~
This may have been the MOST CRAZY high school game I have ever seen. The game was 2.5 hours long, all but 4 girls on our team fouled out, both our coaches were ejected which made the boys varsity coach have to come in and finish coaching the rest of the game, one parent being ejected, and both refs being escorted out of the building after the completion of the game. We lost in overtime.

VARSITY GAME - Phoebe got to be a part of Sarah's handshake during the announcement of the starting line-ups.

Phoebe and Baylee both got to be part of the varsity team for their sister's last home games as seniors.
Below, three freshmen on the varsity bench tonight... Jocelyn, Baylee, and Phoebe.
Baylee and Phoebe waiting to be subbed in towards the end of the game, to play with their sisters.
Below, our girls with Coach Allan.
This was a good freshman season for Phoebe and for Campus. The freshmen had a winning record and have a good core of young players. Phoebe plays hard and aggressive. She is a good defender and rebounder and is usually playing against girls that are taller and outweigh her. I plan to work with her in the offseason on offense. Excited to watch her play the next three years.
