Phoebe and Silas got to spend a couple of days with Owen and Sarah in August. Phoebe drove the three of them there because Sarah had wrist surgery that morning. It was Phoebe's first big drive, and she did a fine job getting them there that afternoon.
The next morning, they got up and hiked the Konza Prairie Trails. After that they used the Sunflower App to do some fun things around town. They started at the Flint Hills Discovery Center, followed by an Insect Museum and the Midwest Car Museum. Later, after Owen got home from work, they went and got snow cones.
The next day they started out by visiting the Zoo. Then a big petting zoo which is also a pumpkin patch in the fall.
The last morning they were there happened to be Silas's birthday. So, they went to Varsity Donuts for some birthday donuts that morning.
