We had a birthday party last weekend... a Princess Fairy Birthday Party! This was Sarah's request. She just couldn't decide between a princess party or a fairy party, so we combined the two. We ordered a princess cake and, Sarah's second request, Popee had to make the fairy cupcakes.
We got together with lots of Sarah's friends. She invited many adults and children. Lots of the little girls wore their Princess dresses to the party. Sarah wore a Cinderella dress. Phoebe wore an Ariel dress.
We had three activity tables for kids to do things at the beginning of the party. A make a necklace table, a make a princess crown table, and a coloring book table. I made the coloring books with Sarah's help... She and I found printable princess and fairy coloring sheets on the internet and then made several copies and put together a book for each child that would be at her party. Each child got to take their projects home with them at the end of the party.
We played "put the flower crown on Ariel" game. Sarah got her crown the closest... with a little help from Uncle Charlie!
We ate dinner and had cake and cupcakes.
Last, Sarah opened her gifts from her friends. She got many nice things... books, games, clothes, craft projects, fairy wings, and Princess and Fairy themed things.
Thanks to all who came to Sarah's party and helped make it special for her. We hope you had a fun time!
