The girls both sold enough items to get to go on the LIMO LUNCH ride from the school fund-raiser back in September. The huge truck limo came to pick them up last week at school and drove them to McDonald's for lunch, then back to school. Each child had to sell 30 items or more to qualify for this prize. If you had more than one child selling the fund-raiser items there were breaks in items sold for 2 children selling, 3 children selling, and so forth. Sarah sold 36 total items and Phoebe sold 12 total items making them both eligible for the limo lunch. There were 8 children total from the girls school who met this fund-raising goal. Good job kids! Way to support your school!
And, a big THANK-YOU to each one of you who bought items from our girls and helped make it possible for them to get to go on such a cool limo lunch prize!
The limo driver handed Sarah the remote to the stereo in the limo for the ride to McDonald's and told her that she was in charge of the music. She could change the song/music anytime she wanted to, or until she found a song that she liked.
At McDonald's Phoebe had a chicken nugget kid's meal, and Sarah picked a cheeseburger kid's meal.
Below - Silas and I sitting in the truck limo with the girls.
What did you like about the limo lunch?Phoebe - "There was songs and a sink and TV and cups and napkins inside the limo. It was big."
Sarah - "There were TV's in there. And, I was in charge of the music. I didn't like one of the songs, but Mrs. ____ did so I didn't want to change it. (The song was "Celebrate Good Times".) Also there was cushy seats."
P.S. Eric has still not ever ridden in a limo, ever, at all in his life. He is just a little upset that all of us, including his 2-year old son, have all gotten to take a ride in a limo. Ha!
