**GUEST BLOGGER**
~ Eric Hendrickson ~
It has become a family tradition that we spend an evening decorating Christmas cookies together.
Above is the cookie decorating kit that we received in the mail as a gift from my cousin, Venus.
The girls decorated their cookies all by themselves this year.
Unless we wanted a 1" glob of icing on the cookie or sprinkles all over the counter, it was best for Daddy to lend a helping hand with Silas.
We had circle and tree shaped cookies (I called the tree shape cookies, "Arrowhead" shaped for my favorite NFL team, which is on my shirt above).
We had green and white frosting. Too bad there was no red frosting for my Arrowhead cookies.
This year, there were some faces to put on a handful of the cookies. Each kid got a Santa and a snow man face to decorate on the cookie.
Each kid picked their favorite looking finished cookie to show off on their plate.
After we finished decorating, we each sampled one of the finished goods. They were yummy.
Thanks Venus for the fun and tasty Christmas activity.
