Phoebe's Party

Phoebe's  birthday fell on a Saturday in November.  We had her birthday party that morning.  She wanted to have a Disney Toy Story themed party so we bought a cake from Dillons and placed some Toy Story characters on top of it.  She also requested a marble cake, chocolate and white.

I bought chocolate coins and placed them in a dish with the Toy Story character "Hamm" the piggy bank for all to enjoy.  We also used some of the other Toy Story characters, the Aliens, Jessie, and Bullseye to decorate our table.

I bought an unfinished wooden number 6 at Hobby Lobby and painted it to match the theme and colors of the party.  We used it to tie the balloons onto.

When Phoebe's friends arrived at our house they all played together for awhile, and then started to make a Mr. Potato Head craft.  We pre-cut lots of different Potato Head pieces, the body, arms, eyes, ears, noses, glasses, hair bows, feet, mouths, and lips, and then the guests got to pick out the pieces that they wanted to use, color them, and put together their own version of Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head.

We played a game of "Stick the Sheriff's Badge on Woody".

There was an Alien mask to wear so that each person was blindfolded to make sticking the badge on Woody just a little bit harder to do.

Eric had the kids go in order from shortest to tallest.

Sarah and Popee got their badges pretty close to the right spot!

Happy Birthday to the sweetest birthday girl around!

Phoebe unwrapped many nice presents from her party guests.

A few adult relatives came to Phoebe's party too, Mommy and Daddy, Charles and Wyonna, Uncle Matt, Grandma Great and Mike, and Popee and Nanee.

Presents came in the mail from Aunt Andrea, Uncle Bret, Ayden, and Kallin.

And, presents came in the mail from Uncle Eric and Aunt Lindsee.

We went to have lunch at a McDonald's with a playplace after the party.
