Lindsee, EP, and baby Will came back to visit us all the last week in July. EP and Lindsee had to work a few of the days and so we got to help take care of sweet Will. The girls and Silas loved helping, holding him, feeding him, and playing with him.
Matt came home for a few days too. Will got to listen to him play the piano and then Will played a few notes.
Silas played a couple songs for Uncle Matt.
Phoebe read Will a couple stories.
We got to enjoy a hot afternoon at the aquatic center.
Will liked the water and watching everyone in the water.
Our friend, Taylor, works at the aquatic center and Silas couldn't wait to find him and tell him "Hi".
Below, a pool selfie - Lindsee, EP, Phoebe, Will, Silas, Paul, Stacee, Matt, and Sarah.
We all liked floating around and around the lazy river.
Will was all smiles while sitting with Popee and watching people float by in the lazy river.
A surprise visit from MY 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Wright, made me smile. She taught school with my mom for over 25 years. Their third grade classrooms were right next door to each other. (Two of THE BEST 3rd grade teachers I have ever met... Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Hastings.)
EP rode his bike in the 50 mile Lunar Kanza event while they were back. He is a beast on a bike and kicks some major butts. We were there to see him off and to cheer for him at the end as he crossed the finish line a few hours later.
On Dad's birthday we all played some yard games and frisbee games.
Happy 69th birthday Dad!
Below, Dad, with his four favorites of all time... Phoebe, Will, Sarah, and Silas.
Family - It is always good to see and spend time with each of you. Thanks for the fun times, the laughs, the smiles, the hugs, and all of the love. We can't wait to see everyone again soon.
