Sarah and her class went on their first field trip this week. They went to a place called C-Arrow Stables. They have lots of animals there... horses, ponies, a camel, goats, deer, cows, chickens, a cat, dogs, doves, pigs, sheep, and even guinea pigs.
There was a small playground area for the kids to play for a little bit, then they split into two groups. Sarah's group headed to look at small animals first. She was very happy to get to feed the goats, sheep, pigs, deer, and calves.
She and Phoebe got to ride ponies. They both seemed to like their rides. Sarah smiled and hung on tight. Phoebe hung on tight, but didn't smile as much.... typical of our Phoebe... it is so hard to get her to smile. The little paint pony is named Joker and the other is named Tator Tot.
Then all of the kids got a snack, juice and animal cookies.
Sarah got a small pumpkin and took class pictures then we headed home.
