(On a side note, I have to tell you how much I love horses... My cousin Mendi helped me learn to love these amazing animals. They are beautiful, powerful, and loving animals. Thank you Mendi for all the time you spent with me and horses!)
Keith and Stephanie have a real passion for all of their animals. Each horse or pony has a story of how they came to live on the farm, the wagons they pull, escaping their pens, noises they make, illnesses and medical emergencies, who gets along with who, and human lives they've each touched.
The girls both loved looking at the ponies, feeding them, and petting them. They each got to sit on the back of the smallest pony there. Her name is Dumpling. Sarah especially liked a little white pony named Spirit. Spirit seemed to like Sarah too! Spirit followed Sarah all along the fence line and loved when Sarah would feed her and pet her.
Eric and I enjoyed our time with our new friends. They were kind and welcoming, walking around with us to each pen or field so that we could meet all of their animals. Eric even got to help move some of the horses (an Arabian and a Clydesdale) around to their pens for the night.
You can visit their website by clicking here on the words SUNDANCE FARM. We are thankful to have met Keith and Stephanie and are looking forward to our next trip to their farm.
