Well, Stacee and I bleed purple and we love K-State basketball. Stacee's cousins in Oklahoma had tickets to the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City and they knew we would enjoy going to the first two games because K-State would be playing, so they shared their Session #1 tickets with us (thanks Melody and Duane). Although it was on a Wednesday, we couldn't pass up the opportunity.
We are getting better at the selfies. #sweetieselfie
#2, Marcus Foster, played sparing minutes. I yelled a few times to put him in, but Weber wasn't listening.
Above, my favorite player, Thomas Gipson, shooting a free throw. I am glad I got to see his last game in person. We will miss him.
KSU was on the losing end. It was a bad end to a bad year. It has been tough to watch our up and down Cats. The most annoying and disappointing thing to me has been that Coach Weber has not been giving much playing time to our best player, Marcus Foster, and hasn't provided a specific reason why. Tuesday (3/24), they announced that Marcus Foster has been dismissed from the team. Again, with no specific reason. Very upsetting. Again, a bad end to a bad year.
On a positive note, we did beat those JAYHAWKS on 2/23. How SHOCKing. And, Stacee and I got to enjoy the first two games together of the Big 12 Tournament.
