Phoebe Games 11 & 12

Game #11 - Tuesday, June 19th, 6pm - Against Mulvane team 3

No one was there to take pictures tonight.  Thankfully I remembered to take a few at the end of the game.  Phoebe's teacher came to Mulvane to watch the game because he couldn't make it to the final game in Haysville later in the week.  We did not play a good game but we won 3-2.

 

Game #12 - Thursday, June 21st, 6pm - Against Haysville team 1

Our last game.  Grandma Sharon was here most of the week and got to watch all the grandkids play.

This Haysville team that we played was a good team.  We didn't play our best, but neither did they.  We ended in a 3-3 tie.  Phoebe had a clutch hit to score the tying run at 2-2.  The other team then went up 3-2 and Baylee had a clutch hit to tie it at 3-3.  We had the last opportunity to score but did not get the runner home from 2nd base.  We ended the season 10-1-1, which was best in the league.  When this team played their best, they were by far the best team in the league.  Good job girls.
