Silas Games 8, 9, & 10

**GUEST BLOGGER**
 ~ Eric Hendrickson ~

Game #8 - Monday, June 11th
Silas's bat is the old, long one that says TEE BALL.
Silas played 1st, Left Center, and 2nd base.
Silas didn't hit the ball as far as usual tonight, but he played hard like he always does.
Silas had a hard ground ball that he just missed at 2nd base.  Our team as a whole played good defense tonight and Abigail and Sutton each hit the ball hard.  I overheard Sutton's brother tell Sutton that he would give her all his money if she hit one to the outfield.  Her first at bat she did it.  That made me smile.
I was really happy with our play tonight.  Go THUNDER!

Game #9 - Thursday, June 14th
Tonight our t-ballers played great.  Everyone but one person on our team hit it to the outfield.
Silas played good defense.  He was ready for the ball and tried hard to get  "outs" like in all his previous games.

Game #10 - Wednesday, June 20th
Our last game of the year.
Silas liked being Mr. Helpful the last few games with picking up bats after he scored a run.
Sluggers - Silas and his good friend, Abigail.
Silas had a busy inning at pitcher.
He kept his eyes on the ball.
Silas also had a busy inning at first base.  Abigail kept throwing him the ball in the air.  He kept turning his glove the wrong way, so I tried to instruct him on the right way.
Good game.  Good game.  Good game.....
Grandma Sharon was in town the entire week so she got to watch all the grandkids play (and her son coach).  She was the loudest fan.
After the game I treated the kids to ice cream at Braums.  I handed out the medals.  Nova was not able to come so I treated him to ice cream at Braums the following week.  This was a good group of kids and I hope to see some of the boys in machine pitch next year.  I enjoyed coaching with you Coach DJ.  God bless you all.
