The kids were all awake by 8:30 on Christmas morning at our house. Silas came in our bedroom first to see if we were awake and to get us up so that we could all go downstairs and open the gifts.
We started by looking in our stockings....
We all found some candy, movies, and a few small toys, and flashlights.
Next for the presents under the tree....
We opened the presents under our tree from our relatives in Texas first. Thanks Grandma Sharon, Uncle Bret, and Aunt Andrea.
Sarah made Bible verse pictures again for Eric, to add to his book from her.
Phoebe made pillows for all of us.
I got the Pioneer Woman single cup coffee maker that I had been wanting.
We gave Silas the Hot Wheels Hauler.
Silas gave Sarah a Barbie sewing set.
He gave Phoebe a book and and a Barbie outfit.
Sarah gave Silas and Phoebe some books that she had specially picked out for them.
More pillows from Phoebe.....
We gave the girls a sewing machine. They both are excited to use it.
The kids and I came up with some great gift ideas for Eric this Christmas.
Silas was really excited about his new handheld game machine from us!
Phoebe got the Barbie Care Clinic from us that she had been wanting, and Sarah received a note from us that said, "A surprise gift would be delivered to her later that day..." (I had a to have Mom and Dad get it and bring it with them because I could not find our gift in town that we wanted to give to Sarah.)
What a nice Christmas morning we had together.
Eric also got each of the kids a Lava Lamp for their bedrooms.
Dad and Mom arrived later that evening. We had Christmas dinner together, Phoebe and Sarah gave them some gifts they had made them, and Sarah got her gift from us that she had been waiting for all day.
A new computer for Sarah! She was excited!
