Hair, Snow, Furniture, and Family

A few more Spring Break events....

While at my parents house for Spring Break the girls and I got our hair cut.  Sarah went first.  She had Kathy cut about 7 inches off her long hair.  Then Phoebe went next and had 3 inches cut off.  I was next for a trim and color.

Both girls hair looked very cute.  Sarah wasn't so sure for a couple days about her hair.  She had gotten more cut off than she realized, but is really liking it now and it combs out much easier.

We enjoyed a snowy morning.  It snowed for a couple hours one morning.  Nothing stuck on the ground.  The kids loved watching, touching, and trying to catch the big snowflakes.

The girls wanted to play with Barbie things while we were there.  So, I did a little digging and found Lindsee and I's Barbies and our box of Barbie furniture.  Lindsee had more furniture than I did, but I had Barbie exercise equipment.  When Lindsee and I were little we could play with Barbies for hours with our neighbors and friends, Sarah A. and Deidra.  We use to make furniture out of old old scraps from my dad... a wood block t.v., a 2x4 bed, and a 2x4 couch.  What can I say?  We used what we had.  And, it ALWAYS took a long time to set-up before we could actually start playing.  Sometimes we didn't even get to play because we were still setting up when one of us would get called to come home

We invited Grandma Great and Mike to Popee and Nanee's house and we spent an evening visiting and eating dinner with them.  It is always good to be with family and Grandma Great loves being with Sarah, Phoebe, and Silas.
