Diamonds Scrimmage Game

**GUEST BLOGGER**
 ~ Eric Hendrickson ~

On May 9th, our Diamonds 10u softball team had our first game of the year.  It was called a scrimmage, but the game did count toward our head to head record against other Haysville teams.  The Haysville team that has the best head to head record at the end of the year, gets to play post season games.
Our diamonds team has not lost since our first game of the season 2 years ago, so we have won about 25 straight games.  This game did not start out so well as you can see by my upset look and posture above while coaching first base.  We were down 9-1 after two innings.
Sarah (#5) struck out, and walked due to catcher interference.
Hurricane Hannah pitched the first few innings.
Sarah played catcher, first base, and right field.
Quinn (Quinn It To Win It - New nickname I came up with) pitched the last few innings, with Sarah catching for her.
Sarah had a few friends playing on the other team, Lauren and Brook.
Sarah did a good job catching.
The last inning we were down 1 run.  We got the bases loaded with no outs and Brittany (above, pink helmet) hit a single to drive in two runs, winning the game.  We won 12-11.  Good job girls.
