Game #9 - Tuesday, June 12th, 6pm - Against Mulvane team 2
We came into this game undefeated at 8-0, but we have had some shaky games recently.
Game #10 - Thursday, June 14th, 8pm - Against Clearwater team 2
We went into this game knowing that Clearwater was a good team. I thought they would be undefeated but the coach said they had lost their last game to a poor outing.
I just noticed I wasn't wearing my visor for some reason. It wasn't purposeful. After looking at my hair, I wish I had. About 2 batters in, I found the location on the ball to throw a consistent strike.
We started off strong with 3 runs in the first inning. The girls were focused and played with energy.
Phoebe got a clutch hit with the bases loaded to the first basemen. It was an out but scored a run and moved the runners.
Coach Kris was fired up.
Coach BJ was calm and collected. We need that to even out the uneasiness and fire off Kris and I.
I was well pleased with how our girls were playing.
I like high fiving the girls as they come into the dugout.
I also like team huddles before they go to the field.
Phoebe played Shortstop, 2nd, and Left Field.
After 4 innings we were up 8-4. The game was technically over because you aren't supposed to start an inning if there is 5 or less minutes remaining in the time limit. There was exactly 5 minutes. The ump asked if we wanted to play another inning. The top of our lineup was about to hit and I decided to keep going. Thankfully it didn't cost us the game.
We won 9-7. Clearwater left the bases loaded. It was a nail biter.

We started with little focus and energy and got down by a lot of runs.
We had one ok inning but lost 11-2.
