Game #7 - Tuesday, June 5th, 8pm - Against Clearwater
Tonight's games worked out nicely. I was able to coach Phoebe in Haysville for a 6pm game and then head over to Clearwater for Sarah's 8pm game. During the game, I also scouted one of the Clearwater machine pitch teams. They are also undefeated.
Sarah got some pitches to hit and took advantage. She hit a liner past third base and a grounder to the shortstop, and another to the third base side.
She hit in runs each time she was at bat tonight and stole her way around the bases to score each time.
Sarah's swing is pretty good except I noticed one small adjustment that needs made. I think it will help with her bat speed.
Sarah was busy at shortstop. She had 2 throw outs and one close play.
Quinn pitched a great game and we were up 17-2. Another girl pitched the last inning and we won 17-8.
Popee and John came to watch both Sarah's and Phoebe's games tonight. They got to see two good ones.
Game #8 - Thursday, June 7th, 8pm - Against Douglass
The game in Douglass was a tough one.
She was able to get on base once and stole her way around to score for her team.
The girls lost this one by quite a few runs. Their record is 4-4 now.

Game #8 - Thursday, June 7th, 8pm - Against Douglass
The game in Douglass was a tough one.
Early on in the game, Sarah and Josie forgot to call for the pop fly. It fell to the ground.
Sarah jumped for a line drive at shortstop and just missed it.
The Douglass pitcher threw pretty well and the umpire had a large strikezone. This made for a lot of strikeouts. Sarah had trouble making contact. She was able to get on base once and stole her way around to score for her team.
The girls lost this one by quite a few runs. Their record is 4-4 now.
