Daddy Dates 2022

Date with Silas - April
Drive In Movie, "Bad Guys"
Didn't have our first Daddy date until April.  Sorry kids.  I need to pick up the pace.
Since he first saw the previews, Silas had been wanting to see the movie, Bad Guys.  I thought the movie would not be very good, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Since the drive in no longer has speakers (must tune into their radio station), we had to sit inside the truck (instead of the truck bed) and listen to the truck radio.  We also had dinner and dessert from their concessions.
We also watched about 1/2 of the movie, Sing 2, before getting tired and going home.  It was a fun night.
Date with Phoebe - December 3rd
Thunder Hockey Game, Wing Stop, and Sonic
I had to squeeze in two dates before the end of the year to at least say I was able to get a date with each one of my kids this year.  I splurged a little for this date.
Instead of buying tickets online for $10/ea, I bought them at the game for $20/ea.  Lesson learned.
Our seats were down lower by the group of people.  We didn't like the seats, so we moved up so that we were by ourselves.
They had a stuffed animal toss for charity.  I believe they collected about 4000 stuffed animals.
It is always exciting when the Thunder scores.
I bought Phoebe a Thunder hoodie for about $60.  She did put it on and has worn it to school a few times.
The games are played at Intrust Bank arena.
We ate at the Wingstop after the game.  It was late and not much was open.  It was good but it took forever to get our food.
We finished the date with dessert from Sonic.
Date with Sarah - December 10th
The Mall, Schlotzskys, and Freezing Moo
Sarah and I went "people watching" and shopping at the mall.
There was some "crazy" stores we went into.  This was the craziest (The Third Planet).
After the mall, we went to eat.  On the way, we stopped at World Market.
We had the place to ourselves at Schlotzskys.
We went to the Freezing Moo for dessert.
While at Freezing Moo we noticed that the picture that was hung the last time we went there with Nanee and Popee was still hanging on their wall.
I enjoyed our Daddy Dates this year.  Wish I would have made more of them.
