Colorado Day Two - Sunday

Sunday started off slow.  Some of us slept till 6:30 am others till about 8:00 am.... Once we all were up and had eaten breakfast the little girls went outside and spotted a deer laying behind the cabin.  It didn't run away... just watched us.  We decided that we would pack a picnic lunch and head over to the Crags to do some hiking.  Once there, we ate and the little girls fed a chipmunk some graham crackers and chips, then we went for a short hike.  This was interesting with six small children.
Silas started out in the backpack with Daddy.  Sarah and Lexi wanted to pick flowers and catch butterflies.  We started hiking... Each adult had at least one kid in their arms or holding their hand the entire hike.  (We actually did not hike very far, but with kids we had to walk pretty slow, so it took quite a lot longer.)
All of the girls ~ Me, Phoebe, Sarah, Lexi, Avery, Angie, and Layla.  (Obviously it was hard to get all seven girls to look at the camera and hold still at the same time.)
The guys ~ Silas, Eric, and Rex.  (Much easier to get them to hold still and look the right way.  They even smiled!)
Three cute Blondie's!  And, at one point during the hike Eric was like a Super-Hiker-Dad, wearing one kid and holding hands with two others .... (He is such a hottie, especially when he is being Super-Dad.)
On the left, Avery, Layla, and Lexi.  On the right, me, Sarah, Phoebe, Super-Dad, and Silas.

Friends, and Cousins, Forever... The Hendrickson and the Adams Families!
After the hike the Adams family headed back to Denver and we went back to the cabin.  We hiked some around the cabin and my parents arrived there that evening.  Phoebe and Sarah helped Popee cut up and bag a watermelon.  I think they all ate a lot of it as they were working.
Sloppy Joe's, fresh fruit, and corn on the cob for dinner... and, Pringle chips... Quack Quack!
